Very early in my career, I was happy for the opportunity to write some entries for a subject encyclopedia on historiography.  These five short entries appeared in volume 2 of A Global Encyclopedia of Historical Writing, ed. Daniel R. Woolf, 2 vols (New York: Garland, 1998).
